I share a few throwback moments here.
In the year 1982. I got a 1st professional assignment over the
phone where I was a trainee under the guidance of ace
photographer Late Jyotish Chakrabarty, with a huge baritone
voice, none other than Manik Jhethu (Uncle), Shri Satyajit Ray.

Village Phangane is a remote place in Thane district, some 100 plus km away from Mumbai. It has remained remote in all aspects without public transport, or health centre. But last International women's day it created a history by opening the Granny School (Aajbaichi Shala) for the elderly women folk!
